Role Profile
ASP .Net / C# / SQL Server Developer
£40k-70k depending on skills/experience
We are looking for skilled developers who enjoy working in fast-paced teams, with excellent support and good job perks. The developer role will involve a variety of tasks from the development of new components, planning and executing enhancements, and occasionally fixing issues.
We are going through a major transformation – splitting our system into microservices, introducing APIs, and bringing in a vue.js front end. Practical candidates with a willingness to embrace newer technologies and work alongside existing proven systems will do well.
You will be working on a Microsoft web technology stack: ASP .NET 4.5.2, MVC, WebForms (being retired but working knowledge required), C#, LINQ, Entity Framework, JQuery, AJAX and SQL Server. Any knowledge of Vue would be useful.
Required Skills
- Commercial coding experience (2+ years essential, and 6+ years for senior role)
- C#
- JavaScript
- Web API’s, SOAP / Web Service APIs
- SQL Server (including profiling / performance tuning)
- Ability to learn on the job, accurate estimation skills, and a strong team ethic
- An interest in coding and new technologies outside of work
