Business Development Consultant

Ignite is recruiting for an ambitious Business Development Consultant to work on detailed research & lead generation, client engagement, marketing collateral/creative production and events planning.

 

Must haves:

  • Minimum 3+ years in a personal lines insurance role, either at a broker, insurer or software house
  • Detailed research and analysis skills; we’re looking for the right kind of ambitious partners to work with, and we’ll need your eye for opportunity to help grow these new relationships
  • Relationship / 3rd party engagement – a good understanding, at an entry-to-mid level, of external relationships is crucial – a personable and professional manner is essential
  • Foundation knowledge of insurance technologies – Premiums / Enrichment / Pricing / Reporting

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Lead generation & Tracking experience – Verifying value, establishing key contacts, follow-up protocols
  • Hands-on experience of a back-office Software House System – in a customer representative, tester, implementation or configuration role
  • Creative experience (Abode Creative Suite & WordPress)

Soft Skills

  • MS Office tools proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint especially)
